no, dear buddy,
the power of php gtk is in that it's cross platfom, it means that you can run it on various operating systems such as windows, linux, without changing the code !
.exe files can be run just under windows operating system ( forget wine !! )
so , you start a project in php gtk and the you have a chance to run it under various operating systems, I think it's better than an obsolete executable file, !!! 
and also, running the phpw files is as easy as .exe files in windows , make sure dear buddy,

im sorry but that is just not quite correct mr_shadow
there are ways to convert a php-gtk application into an executable but at present no proper way for php-gtk2. There are a couple of developers working on a way t do this (and in all honesty they have missed their opwn deadlines.
http://www.priadoblender.com should hopefully release an updated program to work with php-gtk2 as should http://www.roadsend.com |
