Yet another code repository?

Not exactly. The onus at PHP-Gtk2 Creative will be on creative solutions to interface-building problems, but we'll also include some of the mundane for educational purposes.

PHP-Gtk2 Creative will contain pages of code listings you can copy and paste right into your text editor. Included will be:

- all the code from all the lessons presented on the PHP-Gtk2 Blog
- classes that make it easier to implement complex interfaces
- applications that present an unusual paradigm
- snippets that shake up the normal patterns of GUI design

All code will be syntax highlighted and presented in an easy-to-follow format.

In the near future, we'll be open to submissions, so if you have an unusual solution to a GUI problem you'd like to make available on PHP-Gtk2 Creative, or if you just want to find a creative solution to a problem that's had you banging your head against the screen, keep an eye on this forum for more news.

PHP-Gtk2 Creative will be aimed at those who want to go beyond the norm, to leap into combining coding with the art of GUI design and deliver not just another application, but an application with style, grace and a paradigm that makes PHP-Gtk2 applications a joy to write and use.
