Thanks very much for the compliment.
Writing an article about glade is a bit outside the scope of the blog at this point. The focus is more on the basics, how to program things from scratch.
However, I'll put your idea on the back burner for now and see if something grabs me. In the meantime, Christien et al. has written a very good tutorial in the manual (as Christien mentioned). I hope it clears up some of your questions.
