I've seen, that there is only the windows-library in there.

Is it possible that you could provide a package, which includes the linux-library too?

i will look into providing the linux library as well.
will need to look at some phpgtk2 linux setups dont have one running myself yet.

please report any bugs you find as this is still only an alpha release.
this is my first pear package so any feedback welcome.

if someone could post the directory structure of the php-gtk2 with pear linux install this would help speed the addition of linux to this package.

providing a linux package doesn't really work, as you would need to provide the sources to compile it directly. Installing pre-compiled libs won't work on more than 10% of the systems.

compiling from source the zend optimizer extention is not posible seen as the optimizer is closed source every linux install i have every used has installed the optimizer fine.
althop i do beleve you are correct and thay will not run on all linux systems but the vast majority will be compatable.
